A Stakeholder Asset Collaboration Program from Tourism Ucluelet: featuring Sparq Social + Shorewood Collective

πŸ“Έ Digital Asset Capture + Hands-On Content Workshop

Tourism Ucluelet is launching a small-scale Stakeholder Asset Collaboration Program to help local businesses build stronger, more practical digital content for their own marketing channels.

This program is designed for businesses that would benefit from updated photo and video assets, along with hands-on support in learning how to use those assets for social media content.

Participating businesses will receive a small package of digital assets and will take part in a three-hour workshop focused on building practical content for platforms like Instagram and Facebook.

πŸ’Œ What Participating Businesses Will Receive

Each selected business will receive:

  • 8 to 10 edited still images suitable for use in a social media carousel

  • Colour-corrected B-roll video clips that can be used to create reels or short-form video content

  • A mix of images and clips that may include exterior, interior, product, service, atmosphere, staff-in-action, guest experience, and detail shots, depending on the business

  • A hands-on workshop to help turn those assets into usable social media content

The goal is to make sure businesses walk away with content they can actually use, not just a folder of files.

πŸ‘‹ Who This Program Is For

This program is designed for small to medium-sized Ucluelet tourism-facing businesses that want support in improving their digital content and online presence.

It is especially intended for businesses that manage their social media in-house and do not currently have an external social media manager or agency supporting their content.

All interested businesses are welcome to apply and register. Space is limited, and if the program fills up, Tourism Ucluelet will review registrations based on program fit and eligibility. If a business has registered but is not selected due to capacity limits, the registration donation will be refunded.

βœ… Registration

Spaces are limited to approximately 10 participating businesses.

Businesses will be accepted based on program fit, available space, and the priority criteria outlined above. Registration will remain open until all spaces are filled.

🌊 Why Tourism Ucluelet Is Offering This Program

Many local businesses are owner-operated and do not always have the time, capacity, or resources to consistently create strong digital content. This program is intended to provide practical support by helping businesses capture updated assets and learn how to use them more effectively.

By supporting local businesses with stronger digital content, we can also help create a more cohesive and current visual presence across Ucluelet’s visitor-facing channels.

If the fee is a barrier to entry, please email us. We want this to be accessible.

Fee will be donated to the Food Bank on the Edge
